NEXTerminal supports and recommends 2X software, both 2X Application server, 2X Load balancer and 2X thin client server. The 2X software application Suite is a super alternative to expensive Citrix® software.

Most people chose Citrix® because the need published application, load balancing, secure gateway and web portal with SSL access to the published applications etc. The 2X Application servers give you just that, for a fraction of the Citrix® price. Ex. 2 servers running 80 users in total is less than 2000€.

Until now the 2X software had to run on windows machines or Linux with network boot. With NEXTerminal, you can now flash our hardware with the 2X Client Software, and run all the 2X infrastructure software directly from the flash, and the good news is,  the terminal software is absolutely FREE.

NEXTerminal powered by 2X is our normal hardware, installed with 2X client software, at a reduced price compared to our eLux software. You can get additional management software to administer the terminal, by purchasing the 2X Thin Client Server Package, starting from 20€ a client and ending at less than 8€ a client.
